Jesus Camp

Jesus Camp is about a documentary that follows several young children as they are preparing to attend a summer camp where they will get their daily dose of evangelical Christianity. The camp is called Kids on Fire. Throughout the documentary we are introduced to Becky Fischer who is currently working for the camp along with the children who are attending the camp and others. The main force of the documentary is to illustrate the belief of the faithful ones. Throughout Jesus Camp you see a housewife who is currently home schooling her child into believing that creationism is the answer to all and then seeing young children being brought to their feet in tears as they promise to stop from sinning. .
The film was very disturbing for me to watch. Jesus camp is basically about where children spend their summers learning and practicing their prophetic gifts and being taught that they can "take back America for Christ. While I was watching this documentary all I kept on thinking was how sad it was to see that these poor children are being brainwash into thinking that they are two types of people in this world; the ones who would die for god and others who wouldn't. Each person is judge in this world by what they believe in. Along what was more disturbing is that these kids don't have a choice by four this is taught to them day in and day out. It sick to see these people preach their thoughts and ask these kids if they love god then they have to die in his honor. .
Just watching children being brought to their knees in tears and crying for forgive is beyond me. These poor children are being brainwash into believing for example that "harry potter is evil " and in the Old Testament times, he would have been put to death for being a warlock. Frankly this is bullshit how can a fiction book be evil? Please someone explain this bullshit to me because it doesn't make sense. It makes me outrage how these dumb ass who are preaching about god and his will probably haven't even step into a college class and have the nerve to say what is right and what is wrong.
