             There is one similarity and one difference between aboriginal female police officers, and female police officers in Canada. Both aboriginal and non-aboriginal female police officers are victimized because of their gender (2011 NWAC), but the difference between non-aboriginal and aboriginal female police officers would be that "aboriginal female officers are not only victimized for their gender, but also because they are aboriginal.
