Prediction of Ground Vibrations During Pile Driving

.
The soil consist of 8 layer based on N-SPT data. At the depth of 0 - 4 m is sand with loose type of soil, at the depth 5 - 12 m is silty sand berupa pasir berlanau with loose type of soil, at the depth 13 - 16 m is sand with loose type of soil, at the depth 17 - 22 m is silty sand with loose type of soil, at the depth 23 - 27 m with stiff type of soil, at the depth 28 - 29 m is clay with stiff type of soil, at the depth 30 - 31 m is clayey sand with stiff type of soil and at the depth 32 - 40 m is clay with stiff type of soil.
The pile was made of concrete and was modelled with length 33 m and have 0,35 m for the diamete by means of the linear elastic model considering non-porous behavior. The properties of the soils and pile is listed in Table 1 below.

             2.2 Geometry Modell.
The length of geometry is 340 m and the depth is 40 m with 8 layer of soil. The pile was located on the right side of geometry with length 33 m and diametre 0,35 m, it was added dynamic load (~A) on the middle surface of the top of pile. Figure below, shows input geometry for the modell.

             2.3 Initiall Condition.
The triangular mesh was generated with a global coarseness set to coarse and then a local refinement was made in the pile cluster.
