After a year, My mother's parents knew my mother wouldn't come back, so they raised Kylie all on their own, also having their own problems the manage and tried so hard to help my sister.
Years went by without seeing her mom. Kylie was about to start high school, she knew her mom left her, so she completely deleted her out of her life. Growing up without a mom was hard for her because she didn't have the same love most kids had from their own parents. Kylie went through many problems in her early teens, she didn't have someone to guide her besides my grandparents. Kylie loved my grandparents, and was very thankful for them to raise her. You may think she was happy, but Kylie wasn't. Kylie was easily influence by others, and whatever her friends did, she thought was cool. She tried things she shouldn't have done to help her get through her problems and pain. This lead to fighting with other people, doing drugs, stealing from houses, and getting arrested. Kylie was lost. She did't have anyone to go to, to talk about her problems and to get help. Later that year, My mother showed up again in her life. Kylie objected having her back in her life, because she left her with no explanations for what she had done. Kylie was already going through so much, and that the last thing she wanted, and needed was her mother trying to bring her back into her life. The pain that she had was unforgiving, and she couldn't believe the audacity my mom had to show up like nothing after she left my sister on her own for so long. Even today my sister isn't that close to my mom, but little by little she tries to move on from it. My mother came back to Minnesota, with a better job that could help both of them. Kylie tried to get helped and get herself back together. It took years for her to get back on track, but she never gave up. She has fallen for stupid things, but Kylie is and alway has been strong she didn't know that until she had to get back on her feet, she fought through everything and tried to forgive.
