German Philosopher - Friedrich Nietzsche

Here he shows his strongest opposition to idealism. He also published other books like Beyond Good and Evil, Twilight of the idols and the Genealogy of Morals in 1887.In these publications Nietzsche came up with different central points for his philosophy. This essay will look at his idea and concept of ˜super-man' or ˜overman'.
Nietzsche describes an ˜overman' as an individual who strives beyond all categories of evil and good, master and slave to live or exist. This idea is briefly mentioned in his published book Thus Spoke Zarathustra. It brings out his idea of the human race life regardless of his/her occupation. He further describes him further as an individual who is willing to sacrifice all for the improvement of the human race. An overman establishes his/her own ideas and values in the way he or she wants to. By doing this he indirectly affects the lives of the other people either positively or negatively. In other words an overman adds values to other people's lives without dominating them. The overman lives a life where each passing day has a meaning and focuses more on the happiness and pleasures of the present. This means he values the present than the past and the future with the drive for humanity.
According to Nietzsche, an over man forever affects the history. He keeps on returning to the world through other people's minds by interfering with their thoughts and values.Neistzsche uses the current status of Europe to describe an overman. He describes Napolean as an overman because he modelled, changed and created Europe. Comparing this to his other central points of thinking, the idea completely agrees his other idea of will-to-power. He tries to prove that life is the power to power. It's hard to understand what he meant by that statement but it can be defined as how humans behave, think and act in different scenerios. He sees this as a fight by an individual to achieve or attain own desires.
