Film Notes - The Blind Side

             The main character is named Michael Oher, also referred to as "Big Mike." He is a large coloured male in his teens who becomes homeless after his mother gets evicted from their town house, and his father died. He gets the opportunity to live and be cared for by a wealthy white family, named the Tuohy's. From them he receives: a home with his necessities. They also pay for his schooling while helping him receive good grades by giving him tutors, and helps him join football. He becomes an all star, and ends up receiving multiple scholarships to different colleges. Becoming a legal part of the Tuohy's is really a new beginning for Michael. Another main character is Leanne Tuohy. She is a very independent woman, who is blonde with a southern accent. Leanne also asks Michael to spend the holidays with their family, and after that she also buys Michael new clothes. Besides what her snobby friends think, she decides to let Mike to permanently live at their house. She is the person to invite Michael into the Tuohy home. .
             Besides what her snobby friends think, she decides to let Mike to permanently live at their house, after awhile she also includes Michael as a part of the family. Leanne has also learned a lot from Michael, and realizes what she has and her family is something to be cherished. She becomes very happy with her now extended family, and couldn't be more content. She, and the rest of the family, decides to legally adopt Michael as a part of the family. A third character is, S.J. Tuohy. He is a very accepting you boy, who also has an exceptionally rambunctious and outgoing personality. He is also the type of the person that knows information on anything you need. S.J. loves the attention that he gets from having Michael as a "big brother " as he tells the kids at school. He also likes to help Michael train for football. S.J. loves learning new things with and about Michael as they grow closer.
