Methodology.
Researching for this paper was a challenge at times because while looking for a number of sources I would come across the same information; making claims and formatting different citations was also difficult. In the end, a majority of the sources I used were books because they seemed to give the most accurate information. At first it was hard to find complete information on Sojourner Truth because most of the sources and information I found became very repetitive and lacked valuable details. Because of this I spent a lot of time reading and reviewing books and articles about her. Surprisingly one day, I had spent a total of two hours just reading about her and looking for different information to state about her. Fortunately, I did find some very helpful information and ideas from some reliable online and printed sources. The most interesting and compelling part of the paper was being able to learn new things about the obstacles and the challenges Truth had to overcome and how she overcame them.
One of the things we had to do as a requirement in this paper was to make headed claims for each section of the paper. After looking through and carefully organizing my notes, I was able to decide on my claims. I had decided on three claims: Leader's Context, Leaders Contributions, and Life after Leader. I had to pay close attention to the information I had to base my claims on evidence I had found not my personal opinions in order to make an academic argument.
