The United States Air Force

I have the honor to work for the world's greatest air force. The United States Air Force (USAF) consists of intelligent, dedicated, and incredibly hard working airmen. These airmen achieve an immense amount of accomplishments every day. The endless sacrifice, extensive knowledge, and unmatched performance of the airmen are the key factors that ensure air and space superiority. The USAF bases these core competencies and distinctive capabilities on a shared commitment to three values: integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do. .
Founded on 18 September 1947, the USAF had one mission: to fly, fight, and win in air, space, and more recently, cyberspace. To achieve that mission, the air force has a vision of global vigilance, reach, and power. The vision entails three core competencies: developing airmen, advancing war-fighting technology, and integrating operations. Air support is a crucial part of every military. The USAF is alert, ready to respond quickly and decisively anywhere, anytime, and to do so with great precision. .
The air force is well equipped with high-tech equipment. This allows for total domination of the opponent on the battlefield. Remotely piloted aircraft, once used only as spy planes, have become quite ferocious. These drones are capable of carrying and shooting missiles thousands of miles away. The USAF is testing its newest weapon with the invention of micro air vehicles. Incredibly, it is now possible to shrink an aircraft to the size of your thumbnail. Other weapons the air force experiments with consist of, lasers, g-forces, supersonic flight, GPS, and satellites.
The USAF does not always use its resources to serve the military mission, it also uses them to serve mankind. In any type of humanitarian crisis, it performs a variety of missions to aid those in need. Air deliveries are the quickest and sometimes the only way to get supplies to those people in need.
