Tutankhamen the boy king lived and died 3,000 years ago. His father was Pharaoh Akhenaton and his mother was Kiya. His mother died giving birth to him and his father died when he was ten making him the youngest Pharaoh ever. He had many people who said who is this ruler that we should obey? He is just a boy! He ruled Egypt and along side him was his wife about his age, she was his half-sister Ankhesenamen. There was an evil man named vizier, Aye he was very powerful in Egypt. He wanted to be king, he told the young Pharaoh what to do and the young pharaoh trusted him, but Aye should not have been trusted. After 7 years of Tutankhamen ruling Aye conspired against him. Aye wanted to be king and he wanted Ankhesenamen as his wife. On King Tutankhamen's 18 birthdays there was a large celebration, everyone was there but King Tutankhamen's. They found him dead in his bed. Ankhesenamen pleaded for help she knew Aye killed her husband and he was planning on marrying her so he could rule Egypt. A Hittite king sent one of his sons to marry her but some how before he got there he was killed. Ankhesenamen had to marry Aye. She pleaded with the gods to avenge her husband's death and let the truth come out.
Thousands of years later they found the tomb and mummy of Tutankhamen. While on exhibit in New York there were many reports of people hearing a young woman weeping. Many believe this is the ghost of Ankhesenamen the bride of the boy king. .
