The Gambling Addiction

Gambling is a dangerous addiction that can lead to financial ruin, and in order to avoid this trap people should have a designated friend who can keep their spending in check, especially when patronizing casinos. Each of those machines you sit in front of are the money cocaine of gambling, as soon as you begin for others it's a difficulty to quit. Sure, the poker machines may look completely innocent but they can be as cunning and mischievous as a robber. The victory chime and the glowing lights introducer bystanders just see gambling as a fun game. .
The image of casinos were formed by the Las Vegas movies that portrayed gambling as a win-all or lose-all past time. The adrenaline rush of winning and feeling even luckier after your first win and risking it all again only to get luckier. I for one love gambling so much, I have lost around $2,000 through approximately $3,000 since December of 2014. On April 18, 2015 my family and I went to Mohegan Sun to see Kevin Hart live. I had around $1,500 saved up for that day to spend on myself and my family. But things didn't go as planned after the show, after spending $500 on myself and my siblings I had so money left. The casino was packed, there were people waiting by the tables and slot machines. The air smelled of cheap perfume and cigarettes, and for some reason it all felt right. I had the biggest urge to gamble, first I went to the slot machines and spent half of my money on them though I did win back $200 but it didn't come to close to what I lost already. The $200 didn't last long, I got cocky and pushed my luck and lost the $200. I felt angry and blamed the machines even argued with the blackjack/poker dealers. But it did not end there, I had some money left and decided to give it another try, I ended up losing of course but on the slot next to mine there was a couple arguing about the money they had lost and had no way of paying off their drinks.
