One of these articles that studied the effects of diversity experiences on socially responsible leadership over four years of college, they used the method from WNS (Wabash College Center) that would explore the effects of liberal arts education on cognitive and psychosocial college outcomes. The WNS is a national longitudinal multi-institutional study. Back in 2006, participants in the study were randomly undergraduate students who completed an assignment, during their freshman year, and a follow-up assessment in 2010, at the end of their fourth year of college. This study consisted of 17 institution. The institution represented every region of the country and were of various sizes and campus enrollments. Of those students, 2,212 (49%) completed the final assessment and 1,946 who completed the final assessment in 2010 due to small number of missing cases so they used the list-wise deletion method to account for the missing data.
