According to Patel "there are at least 350 other fertility clinics around India". Being a surrogate is a great ways for the women to make money and show that they can make their own decisions. Not only does surrogacy benefit the surrogate mothers, but it also benefits the family who is receiving the child. Surrogacy provides another family with the most precious gift you could ever give someone. Although, couples pay thousands of dollars to hire a surrogate and receive their baby, it takes a special woman to be able to carry a child for nine months just to give it up. .
