How do the Witches Influence Macbeth Throughout the Play?

             What role do the witches play and in what way do they affect Macbeth?.

             The Witch's words were tantalizing and they enticed Macbeth to process his inner thoughts. They lived in their own supernatural world of incorrect judgement and complete corruption. They captured Macbeth into it destroying all sign of self-control leaving a diseased mind.
             The witch's immediate impression introduces; horror, mystery and disorder. As in Act one scene two they spontaneously tempt Macbeth to murder Duncan. They influence Macbeth into a confusing cage of lies and deceit, where he only hears what he wants to hear. .
             The Witch's feed Macbeth information and show him visions they know he will misapprehend, .

             "Be bloody, bold and resololute; laugh to scorn The power of man, for none of woman born shall harm Macbeth.".
             The Witch's prophecies portray the future and warn Macbeth. The supernatural element within the play is one of the stronger themes and it affects Macbeth the most. One of the three weird sisters metaphorically mentions why she will punish a sailor on a ship because his wife wouldn't give her any chestnuts. It's an analogy of the future in a sense. As the ship resembles Scotland and when macbeth is the sailor (king) it will suffer from a terrible storm. The Witches do not have the power to sink the ship; only Macbeth has the physical and mental ability to do that. The Witch's just have to throw the misread ambition in the wrong direction so Macbeth chases it and makes it happen. .
             They begin the destruction, Macbeth believes in himself after receiving this spoon fed ambition and Lady Macbeth processes his words into action by attacking his manhood. She also uses emotional blackmail by saying to Macbeth that he had promised things he hadn't; she even relates Macbeth and Duncan to her and her baby.
