Logos, Pathos, Ethos of UPS Advertisement

As you first look at the ad, you will see a beautiful woman and a UPS (United Parcel Services) truck behind her. At the top of the ad it says, "When winters get down to -30F, you better have someone whose passion burns bright." Looking at this I thought, that no matter what kind of weather there is UPS will always be there to delivery your package. Then at the bottom it says, "Actually, sometimes it get to -40F, but who is counting? You see that the temperature is inconsequential to Rosemary. Whether there is five feet of snow on the ground or blistering sunshine, Rosemary is still responsible for on-time delivery to a 225,000-square-mile territory. Of course, covering a lot of ground is nothing new for her. She has been climbing the UPS career ladder ever since she started as a part-time customer service representative in California. It just goes to show you; at UPS, we are always looking for the people whose fire burns brightest. Of course in this instance, that is the only way to tolerate the winter." Now, it looks as if you are looking for a good career you should work for UPS.
The ethos of this advertisement or the tone of this advertisement from the author's point of view is in a normal everyday voice. It had just seemed as if the advertisement was selling their parcel services, when really ended up looking for a few good people to work for them. However, you can still tell it wants the people to know that UPS is always on the job no matter what time or day it may be. From when they said "When winters get down to -30F, you better have someone whose passion burns bright." In addition, "Whether there is five feet of snow on the ground or blistering sunshine." When we had that storm a couple weeks ago how many main businesses were open the day it hit. I can tell you one because I had to go work. .
The pathos of this advertisement or the emotions of this advertisement is that you may understand that the woman is smiling so it makes you feel happy about using UPS if there customers are happy about it to.
