             A Christian marriage is exclusive in the sense that you give yourself to your partner, you offer yourself up to your partner. The marriage is a commitment of the love they have for each other. This is shown in the mass when the couple agrees to love honor and obey each other forever. The marriage is also giving yourself up to the other by not having sex before marriage and on the wedding night it is given up to each other. In a marriage you should not commit adultery, as it is a sin as you will be going against your loved one and Gods laws. The temptation is believed to be a test by God in some people's eyes. .
             Some people believe that they have been called to marry by God, their love for each other is so strong that they believe God is calling them to get married, this is called vocation. God is also present at the marriage in the form of the priest who asks the couple if they love each other forever and ever. When the couple gets married it is a gift from God showing their love for each other.
             Marriage is uniting men and women in special forms of mutual dependence, often for the purpose of founding and maintaining families. Because the family provides most people with social activity, and since it is the foundation on which social organization is based in most cultures, marriage is closely tied to economics, law, and religion. Someone who you can relate to, shares common interest, and that is trustworthy, is one of the best ways in which one can maintain a good relationship.
             When looking for a partner in life, that person should have a kind heart, understanding, and most of all someone who is always there for you when you need them the most. For example, if a person is crying, someone who cares for that person would come along and try to comfort the one that is depressed or in pain. The person should be loyal as well as honest, if ever there is a conflict between one another, and that person should be understanding.
