            What does it take to open a fitness center? Success in this endeavor would take a step by step process which would involve long term planning, goal setting, hard work, commitment, and a good education. Together these steps have the potential to build an ideal fitness center practically from the ground up. If an individual were to attempt to open a fitness center without the proper planning process, it would fail miserably. Following a process of well thought out steps would increase the likelihood of a booming success along with the added benefit of serving those who need to improve their physical health.
             The future fitness trainer would need to research fitness training, nutrition, and the business aspects in general of the personal health and fitness at a young age in order to decide if this would be a desirable career. In the beginning stages of pursuing this career, one should start researching health, fitness, and diet worldwide. Methods of training should be analyzed, learned, and completely understood to where an individual could stipulate a particular training program to a trainee. Another great method for researching and gathering knowledge on the subject would be to interview personal trainers or nutritionists regarding their theories and standpoints.
             The next logical step in the fitness process would be to join a local gym that focuses on all aspects of health and fitness. As a member of a fitness center, first hand experience and knowledge is available, plus it is then possible to test theories for a variety of purposes and individual regiments that can be utilized over a spectrum of health areas. Short term goals can be set and attained; long term fitness goals can be planned and worked on while a member, under the supervision of knowledgeable professionals. This hands on experience will later add to the credibility of the fitness trainer/entrepreneur. It is easier for customers to follow a plan of a person who has followed similar fitness plans themselves, than to follow the advice a novice with no personal exercise experience.
