Free enterprise founded upon the principle of democracy

Carl Cohen defines Individualist Democracy as the rooted in the primary of the individual human being. This means that the democracy protects the right of each citizen in the making of the laws that govern all and maintains the social order within the society. Therefore it is a possibility that systems of free-enterprise, founded upon the principle of individualist democracy cannot cause the seed of their own destruction. However, philosopher Karl Marx will disagree with this theory.
In Heilbroner's "World Philosophers", Karl Marx explains in page 147 that "capitalism would sooner or later destroy itself". In this Marx says "the plan less nature of production would lead to a constant disorganization of economic activity-to crises and slumps and the social chaos of depression. He believed that the societies enter a world of perfect capitalism: a place with no monopolies, unions and no special advantages for anyone. In it the commodity sells at exactly its proper price. Moreover it allows the proper price to be its value.
In addition, the more the commodity demands on the machine labor, the more manual labor will cease to exist as a free-entrepreneur. However Carl Cohen states in his book, that "capitalism is not the whole of private enterprise." He explains that "the enterprise have the most fundamental importance to everyone who has his or her private enterprise." Therefore the free-enterprise is based on the individual building and making a valuable commodity in order to compete with the machine market. .
For example Mike and Vic plans to buy a machine for the farm in order to compete with other entrepreneurs in the world of technology. There will be a demand for manual labor in order to work the machine and a increase the in market value, giving Mike and Vic an high economy profit. With this new valuable production which Mike and Vic have invested on they are now have venture to the competitive world of principle will ensure that their consumers get what they really want.
