             The use of standard English creates controversy among African Americans and other American people. The main goal of many African Americans is to acquire control of standard English. In my opinion, I strongly disagree with the Americans or others who deny African Americans the usage of Black English in their personal lives and culture.
             As we know, from the beginning of history, human beings focused on adopting diverse behavior and languages that differentiated them from others; the creation of a personal identity is based on language, customs and tradition. Thus Black English is the expression of their identity and culture. .
             The question of communication in American society often plays a large part in the argument about the use of standard English. Surely each regional dialect should be treated as a dialect in itself, and a prudent individual should make an attempt to respect it or at least be aware of its importance for other people, like African Americans. Not every single person speaks in a standard dialect; somehow the language must be acquired through education or other means. Certainly, this essay is intended to be written in a standard English dialect.
             .
             Communication and language may be a question of social class: that in an academic environment, we consider ourselves to belong to a high social standing and, therefore, we consider that our work should be written correctly. We take it as a fact that, in every aspect standard English happens to be the predominant form of communication regardless of the variety of other dialects. .
             There is the case of Black English; it has significant implications in society. It is known that Black English is a variation of standard English, therefore some words change their structure and phonetic sound. This type of English most of the time seems unfamiliar to others and even odd; however, we have to understand and accept the differences between cultures and ethnicity.
