Duties and responsibilites of an adult culture

 

            My main duties and responsibilities in my current job are to effectively manage the store when the Restaurant manager is unavailable. My work is very hands-on; and there are many administration duties to attend to. .
             I regularly use marketing and I throughout the year I co-ordinate with my restaurant manager regarding appropriate advertising merchandising for dramatic effect to not only increase sales but to also increase awareness of the products available. I use the telephone to deal with customer complaints/queries, liaising with suppliers and other stores and order from various companies. .
             I check and record all transactions using manual paper based systems and also computer based logs which consist of an Intranet based system. Once invoices are received they are logged and then filed so that budgets can be set up for the coming months. When using the fax machine I send important copies of documents to Health and Safety Officials and Environmental Health Organisations regarding food safety issues. .
             I also deal with incoming and outgoing e-mails through a company Intranet system. I am very experienced with the Microsoft Office suite and use the packages often at work for spreadsheets, graphics and general word processing duties. .
             When running my shift I administer the restaurants financial transactions and record them in logbooks and on spreadsheets. I also maintain and update staff disciplinary regarding financial issues in accordance with company policy. .
             It is also my duty on shift to receive record and distribute information to the management and staff team as required. As a shift manager at McDonalds I am given targets each month that I must adhere to and budget for. For example these could be food targets or staff targets. .
