What If There Were No Violence Against Women?

What if There Were No Violence Against Women.
Women in North America have faced their share of hard times, have suffered through their share of cruelty and repression. yet they have persevered and have found their own identities and have stood up for what it is that they believe in. .
             For the most part. .
Yet, in other countries, not facing or suffering through violence would result in a complete and utter different state of affairs. Women would be revered for their intelligence, strength, beauty, and poise. They would be an equal contributing part of the family unit. A woman in a position of authority would not be seen as absurd, but as someone who was best candidate. They would never know the fear of a hand raised with violent intent. They would never know such vile acts as female circumcision upon marriage (or before) or being betrothed to someone who already has 3, 4, or 5(or more). Man would not giveth and man would never taketh away. .
In a perfect society, women would be recognized as the ones who give life and who nurture their young. not as an object to be traded or sold to the highest bidder. .
I think that women have a very important role in today's society, and that violence against women is an abomination. It is just a shame that it has taken so long for this recognition and I am saddened for those who still face the difficulties, which should be of yesterday.
