Home videos were in Klebold's house predicting their plan. The first video showed Dylan on a la-z-boy chair, chewing a toothpick and Eric sitting to the right of him in a chair with a bottle of Jack Daniels and a sawed off shotgun. Eric tries to sip the Jack Daniels as manly as possible, as he and Dylan share their plans. Above all, they elaborated on how they are not copying anybody. "Do not think we are trying to copy anyone,"" Eric warns, as he recalls the school shootings in Oregon and Kentucky. Eric then states, "We had our plan before the first ever happened-. They both agreed that their plan was better. They alluded to the kids in Kentucky as " those f---ks in Kentucky with their camo and .22s were just trying to be accepted by others- (Gibbs 40).
The two then switched the subject to all races and types of people they hate. Both had the same list of niggers, spics (Mexicans), Jews, gays, f---cking whites, jocks, those who made fun of them, and the those who were friends but did no stick up for them (Gibbs 41). But it will be over soon; their hatred will be gone. " I hope we kill 250 of you- Klebold said. He thinks it will be the most nerve racking 15 minutes of his life. He could not wait to see their faces; the seconds will be like hours. Both said they could not wait. They then promise it will not be over after the massacre. In their victims' nightmares and thoughts they hope to live forever (Gibbs 42). "We are going to kick-start a revolution,"" says Harris, a revolution for the loners, losers, and the trench coat mafia (Gibbs 43). .
The meanings of these tapes were clear. They were the final words for those who picked on them, and an explanation why they did it (Gibbs 45). .
Was it Eric and Dylan's family who finally drove them to become this angry? No, not exactly, but their anger stemmed from how they were raised. Eric's family was a military family meaning they were always moving.
