Then there is the fact that we have drivers that are very aggressive, crazy, and think that they own the roads. The drivers we have out here come from many other states and the fact that everyone is always in a rush to get places which makes speeding and aggressiveness a part of everyday driving life in Colorado.
Maine on the other hand is totally different then Colorado. The roads there contain one lane to go north and the other lane to go south, occasionally there is a left hand turn lane only on the major intersections. No one is in a hurry to get any where; they just seem to do the speed limits and take there time to get there. There really are not the major intersections that Colorado may have but in Maine there is a different consideration for major intersections, if you cannot see to make a left hand turn they have a turn signal if you can see there is not a turn signal. The roads are in worse conditions in Colorado as it seems to be months before a pot hole is fixed. On the other hand, Maine on the very next day will see to it that the hole is fixed due to the fact that there is usually one main road to get from place to place. Here in Colorado, you have several choices to get to the same destination.
Entertainment.
There are many things in common between the two states in the forms of entertainment we have in Colorado is the same type of entertainment that Maine contains. Here in Colorado we have Museums, Zoos, Aquariums, Amusement Parks, and Theaters. Just because Maine is different in the size of population of people there are many things that the two states have in common. There are skating rinks, and bowling alleys that get teenage business in Maine. Granted that sometimes you would have to ask for a ride there because of the fact that you can't actually get there from walking without taking a while unlike out here where you might just have a five minute walk to one of these events but still most teenagers if they don't have license have to ask for a ride.
