I am one of your many soldiers that have come to Canada to serve for your great country. Straight from your orders I am here to capture and if not capture then destroy Canada. Our army entered the St. Lawrence in about 100 meters and then preceded to burn St. Quia on commands of Wolfe, 600 soldiers sailed down to the lower south shore. The army held captive 200 Canadian men and was eventfully killed. Our leader Wolfe would like to quite and come home, he has repeated that he is tired and weak and wants to draw the enemies from their spot.
I was one of the 5000 men that traveled down river until a thunderstorm put our travels to a halt. Fortunately Quebec only looks to the North shore so that we have a sneak attach planned. .
On September 13th, which happens to be Thursday, we started scaling and climbing goat paths on the cliff of Quebec. Using pullies we managed to lift all of our canons that we had aboard the ships. The army reached the Plains of Abraham at 5am, this plain was an ordinary abandoned farmers field. When the troups scaled the field we noted that the field was uneven and harsh to walk on because of the previous days rain. Our back up, which Wolfe continues to inform us is a lot, has stayed at the bottom of the cliffs.
4000 of the men lined up with me in the ranks. Under stress and lack of men Wolfe tried to make it look like we had more men. Usually 3 lines assembled but on this one occasion we developed only 2 lines and marched forward proudly. The whole army put two bullets in the muskets so that it would be louder and more convincing that there was more armies there than could be seen. Still at 9:30 the real battle that we were about to fight had not yet begun. When the canons from our end were fired we caused devastation on the French side of things. The lines that were once formed were all over the place, soldiers were running from the shoots being fired instead of standing tall.
