Friendship

Once in a while you meet someone, and soon you both discover the two of you are truly something special to each other. You share your thoughts and feelings so relaxed, so openly, and right away you know your friendship's truly meant to be. Life isn't about what kind of car you drive. Or where you went to school. It's not about how beautiful or ugly you are, or what clothes you wear, what shoes you have on, But. life is about who you love and who you hurt. It's about whom you make happy or unhappy purposefully. It's about keeping or betraying trust. It's about what you say and mean, maybe hurtful, maybe heartening. But most of all it is about FRIENDSHIP. .
When things are going great with our friends, life is good. When things are going not so great, life can turn super-crummy, super-fast. The truth is, even the Greatest Friendship In The World will run into some bumpy spots. Everyone fights with his or her friends every once in a while, whether it's a small misunderstanding or an atomic blow-up. Because our close friends mean so much to us, fighting with them can make us feel hurt, angry, frustrated, and deeply sad. .
Since every conflict involves at least two people, you've got to talk things over with your friend. It's important to talk to him/her calmly. Try not to blame him/her about anything because you don't want to get trapped into another fight. .
No fight can end, and no friendship can move on, until everyone says these two little words: "I"M SORRY". Sometimes, though, they can be difficult to say. .
Fights are not about winning. Friendships aren't like the Super Bowl, and there should never be a winner and a loser. When you start fighting with a friend, it may feel important that you "win" the fight by proving you're right and he's wrong, or by making him be the first to apologize. .
In reality, you'll BOTH LOSE if you let the fight ruin your friendship, and you will BOTH WIN if you find a way to heal it.
