change of the generations

There are many similarities between each generations and a variation of differences. I have noticed with the coming of each generation, they seem to get a little wilder and uninhibited. In my grandmother's days, which they so happily referred to them as the heydays, they were required at all times to behave. They showed the utmost respect to their parents never raising their voice or their hands and very seldom rebelling against their parent's views on society. The women were expected to clean house and stay bare foot and pregnant all the while preparing a hot meals for there men folk who plowed the field from noon to dusk. .
My mom generations also had to behave but were a little more lacks about it. I"m pretty sure they had a little mischievous side to them but it was well hidden most of the time but they had no problem with showing itself. I mean after all it was the 60's, the year of the hippie, the carefree generations, who had no worries. Now my generations isn't "expected" to behave. It's as if no one really expects us to all. I don't know if that's a result of the parents or the children, but it's probably a combination of both. .
I think modern conveniences have changed our world for the better and the worse. They"re bad because they change the focus of everyone. My grandmother used to play with dolls and read magazines for entertainment. Now there's no TV and computers. Kids no longer have to find creative things to do. There's always a TV or video game nearby. When I was little, my sister and I would make up little games to play. I don't think that is as much of that among kids today. Even since I was a kid there have been a lot of change, I think that kids are growing up way too fast now. .
One thing I noticed by asking questions about favorite types of movies and music is that a person interests often revolve around what was happening at that time. For instance, my grandmothers like family movies.
