In the late 1800's, a law passed that required all children to go to school and get a good education. This law was passed due to progressive movements and reforms. .
In my opinion, I would say that progressives went far enough in reforming America. If they kept going, many people's rights may start being revoked due to "safety". Progressives made America a much better place and without them, there might still be child labor and much more racism in America.
Stop the Rise of Industry!.
The rise of industry is making America a horrible place. Industry is bring filth to our cities and streets. There is trash piled up in the streets, not enough homes for everyone, and big corporations are controlling the government with bribes to benefit them and getting rich! .
There are children, working 12 hours a day in factories and getting paid next to nothing. Greedy, selfish factory owners hire children because the parents don't have enough money and they need the children to work. They don't care about the children at all, just there own personal profit. It makes me sick. .
Poor factory conditions is also the result of industrialization. There are many people getting sick and getting diseases because of the unsanitary conditions of factories. People are getting killed everyday in factories because of poor or unsafe equipment. Somebody could die any minute while working in a factory. They could extract a horrible disease, get hit by a falling piece of defective equipment, or walls of the factory could even collapse on top of you at any minute because of cockroaches and infestation.
Industrialization is wrong because of greedy people that just want to make some money. They don't care who they hurt to make a profit. We can stop industrialization by campaigning to stop it.
