self inspection

As a child I lived in "wonderland" with parents that gave everything that I needed and sometimes things that I did not. The only thing that I missed was the affection. As the son of a diplomat, I left friendship and the places were I grew up behind doors I used to open.
At twelve years old my life started to take on a fake structure, seeing the many different faces of my replacements friends as the one entity of friendship, which was larger to me than most people and still feeling like I was alone. Every seven hundred and thirty days of adjusting, my life cycle would become skewed again. Faces and places that just had become familiar were transformed unsurprisingly and almost nonchalantly as I become used to it. It was how I life lived my life.
Summer 2001, Lima-Peru, on a warm day, I received a letter from a college requesting me to sign a paper that promised I would attend that university. I was excited and I immediately showed to my dad, I expected him to be proud of me. But instead we had a beach house in "cerro Azul" which he gave me the key to as a reward but that wasn't what I really wanted. " Son you deserved it go and enjoyed your weekend with your friends"-my dad said. It was those kinds of feelings that fooled yourself for a while and then made you feel sad and devastated. I began to become disconnected from my family. With the stupid habit of spending money liked to travel a lot, fancying themselves as a privileged family. They had everything that they wanted but except me.
Now living in Maryland, going to McDonough High School, a public school, I finally feel comfortable and settled, having good friends in which I can trust. To think that I almost did not get to feel this that way because my dad wanted to send me to a private school. I got tired of riding this bicycle. After finding a place where I wanted to stay, I intended on doing so, unlike I had the rest of my life.
