All throughout my life I have been taught many useful lessons from my parents, Boy Scouts and through my own experiences. I have learned many of these lessons about life the hard way, but my involvement through Boy Scouts and Church Youth group has given me a great deal of education for certain situations in which lessons might be learned the hard way. I have been involved in the Boy Scouts of America for seven years. Throughout that period of time I learned lots of skills which are starting to show up in my life as "useful." One of the most important skills I have learned and demonstrated from Boy Scouts the skill of leadership, how to gain the skill and how to use it, effectively. I have learned to lead groups of people through the mountains and how to get them to do it. From those experiences I learned to use it now. Boy scouts have been the most extensive program outside of school that has taught me these kind of skills. Besides Boy Scouts, I think my Dad has educated me in a way where it takes after God. I should mentioned before, but God is who I am for. I am a man of God and try to follow his ways in every way I can. Through these ideals, I always try to be honest, faithful and Christian like. I also go to a youth group where I learn many valuable lessons. This is where I go to associate with people who also share these same values. My Life is based upon Christian values. .
