o Pride is the forerunner to my job ethics. It's what keeps me at work, constantly analyzing my plan or reviewing my results until I am completely satisfied for the day. It's what drives me to study the manuals and be the example and resource for my team. It's what yells at me in the morning before leaving for work if my uniform isn't perfect. Pride is what taught me "an honest days" work, for an honest days" pay".
o Pride is what delivers me results, constantly challenging me to say "what if". Never allowing me to be satisfied with what I have accomplished. Forever reminding me that for every success I record, there are at least a million ways it could have been done better.
Internal pride, in my opinion, is the strongest characteristic I have to succeed. It has challenged me to excel in any situation. .

• Development.
o I have always felt it important to surround myself with knowledgeable managers and crew. .
If they are as versed as me in McDonald's knowledge, then they will see that I am being the example to the store that I should be. .
McDonald's has proven time and again that their way is the fastest and easiest way of doing things. By proving this to the team, and getting them to follow procedures, operational improvements begin to happen on their own.
A team that knows their job, and how to do their job, is a happy team, which directly improves the stores" morale and turnover rate.
o Having a continuous and ongoing development program keeps the team constantly challenged and motivated to succeed, to move up, and to stick around.
o By executing development correctly, and having good management depth, I am un-securing my position in the Restaurant which allows room for others to move up, and me to move out or dig deeper in other areas.
I have always gone against the grain when it comes to developing people, particularly managers. .
