voyage of a hero

The movie, The Matrix, is the story about the making of a hero. The story tells of a man, Neo, becoming a hero. A woman named Trinity contacts Neo and tells him of "the matrix". Neo does not believe Trinity and thinks that the world he is in is the only world that exists. His curiosity arises and he wants to learn more about the matrix. The making of a hero always begins with a miraculous conception. Neo experiences this when he is born into the real world from the womb-like incubator. He is then released down into a pool of water and pulled by machinery into a room with blinding lights. .
The second step of being a hero is shown when Neo is shown divine signs that he is the chosen one. The oracle tells of his fore coming and that he or Morpheus would die. One would die, and the other would be "the one". He does not believe that he is the one, but many signs show that he is the one. Morpheus trains and prepares Neo by showing him the techniques that will later benefit him as being the one. Morpheus physically and mentally prepares Neo for being the chosen one. During his fight with agents and Agent Smith, Neo becomes a skilled fighter like that of Kung Fu, and dodges bullets. .
Neo faces many trials in his upbringing as a hero. He chooses to sacrifice himself for the sake of humanity instead of taking the easy way out of the situation. When Neo makes the decision to go "in" to rescue Morpheus, Neo goes with the full knowledge that he will die. The Zion mainframe codes must be protected at any cost, or humanity is lost. With this act, Neo is, in effect, knowingly sacrificing himself to save the rest of humanity. .
Neo is descended into the underworld as he is fighting with Agent Smith and the other agents at the train station. Neo finally believes that he is the chosen one. Neo is killed in the struggle with the agents. Neo becomes resurrected within three minutes and destroys the agent who has brought him grief.
