Stress Management

During the process of making goals and aspiring towards them I have learned a great deal. Despite dealing with a shorter time period to chart these goals; I have found that some techniques were effective and others were ineffective. Starting with the latter; I felt that is was not necessary to write the goals down. For me, these very thoughts are constantly circulating in my mind. Also, as mention above, the time restraints made for a difficult analysis. However, over a longer duration and with more comprehensive writings, this project would be very informative to each individual.
As for the effective actions, writing the goals on paper helped reinforce the mental goals I have. Plotting my actions served as a reminder for my long term goals and helped serve as motivation. Over the past weeks I have made advancements towards my goals. As for school, I have been improving on my 3.7 GPA, had talks with certain private schools, and found some promising scholarship leads. The extra time studying recently provided beneficial, when I was informed that I made the National Dean's List. My second goal, law school, is still far away. However, with continued academic success, it can be attained. .
The third goal, staying fit, has been closely followed. Other than one missed day, I have continued to workout at least five days a week. The forth goal was the most difficult to judge over a short term. This goal involved me trying to improve in every aspect in life. Over the past few weeks, I feel that I have made strides in the right direction. Finally, my last goal was to maintain better contact with friends and family. Which has been done, through e-mail and cell phone calls, I have touched base with numerous friends and family members. In conclusion, I was glad you assigned this project. Telling someone else my personal goals made me proud of where I am at in my life.
