The candidate that I chose was Jack Franks. I chose this candidate for many different reasons. The first reason being that he was an excellent speaker and I thought that he would be the most able, of the three candidates, able to successfully get his bill past before the House. I also agreed with almost all of the political beliefs that he had. The political issues of his that I agreed with him on, is his plan for tax relief, his health care plan, his road plans, his education belief. The one political issue of his that I found a little bit shady is his beliefs on abortion. He feels that a woman should have the option of aborting their children, I think that all abortions should be illegal. The best characteristic that Jack had was that he came across as being honest. He showed that he was honest when he boldly stated his opinions on the death penalty. I also liked the fact that Jack Franks told us that he would take his workers to get something to eat. This shows me that he is appreciative towards people that work for him, and at the very least he is an overall nice guy to even offer to take people out to get something to eat. Overall I thought that Jack Franks was by far the best candidate, of the three candidates that were given.
