" This statement is a very good example of a child learning how to do all these things just by watching their parents live their everyday lives. Of course these examples are not the best for a child of a young age to be watching or learning, but it is a good example of education being put to work in an indirect manner. The child watching their parents and maybe putting what he saw to work in the future. That child letting himself be taught by watching and proceeding to duplicate what they saw. Parents, on the other hand, have great effects on their children. When a child turns, lets say two, their parents start teaching them how to walk, sit on toilet, how to eat with out making a mess and eating with silverware. These are all examples of necessary skills that one will need for the future and are more direct ways of how parents educate their children. .
There are of course others that play large roles in the learning process of a person. A persons peers have a great influence on what one is being educated on. You talk to them, listen to them, watch them and you react to them. It is the same as watching or listening to your parents, the end result is learning from that particular experience, indirectly or directly. Through your peers you start to become your own person, making your own decisions. If one of your friends smoke cigarettes, and you don't because you know the effects of smoking, you are educated that it is harmful to your body and chose not to smoke. You don't always do what your friends do, but if you have never experienced it and decide to try, you figure out whether you like it or not and you learned. Parents, teachers, friends all have an influence on your education.
When being educated you don't necessarily have to have some one teaching you, you can also learn through books. I am not talking about scholastic books, I am talking about novels, short stories, poems, reading like those.
