Huckleberry Finn

 

At night Huck usually went into a small town to buy some food, but if he didn't have any money he would steal food from the farmers fields. .
             In Huck's first adventure Jim and Huck come across an uprooted house from the flood, they want to climb onto it to see if there is anything they want from it. While in the house they find a murdered body, they immediately leave. Huck decides to go on land and find out if anyone is after him or Jim, so he disguises himself as a girl and goes to a family's home. There he finds out that people have seen their smoke on the island and there is a big reward for Jim's capture. So onwards down the river they went, only to find a wrecked steamboat with a band of robbers onboard. Jim and Huck barely escape with their lives. During the middle of the night their raft slammed into a steamboat separating Huck and Jim.
             Huck finds himself at the home of the Grangerfield's. There he finds himself in the middle of the family feud and the families were fighting till the death. Huck finds himself running for his life when he runs into Jim; together they launch their raft off shore and away from the family war. Next Jim and Huck rescue a pair of con artists who are being run out of their town by the people. One of the men claims to be an English duke! And the other man was the late heir to the French throne, which made him a dauphin! Now Jim and Huck extend their journey to these two royalties. .
             The duke and dauphin ran many scams down the Mississippi River. They would practice and rehearse Shakespeare's skits and would put on plays in town for high prices. They would scam the people out of their money and ended up getting run out of the towns. As they entered a town they heard a story of a guy named Peter Wilks who died and left his inheritance to his two brothers who would be arriving from England any day. The duke and dauphin enter the town and claim to be the English brothers.
