            Sex sells, this is the method in which many advertisers sell products. Not only does sex sell merchandise but also it sells it self as pornography. You can buy images of sex at any corner store drugstore or supermarket. It has grown to the point were stores specialize in the sell of sexual oriented material. These store make thousands of dollars off of sexual explicit items that show men and women professionally performing sexual acts. Images of humiliation, control, and power, are all use in the making of porn. Pornography can be viewed through many medias in today society magazines, movies, peep shows and through the increasing popularity of the Internet pornography has increased at an exponential rate in its accessibility. Those who view the material are opening themselves up to be influenced by the actors and the directors' material they are viewing. Deviant males can misinterpret the messages sent by the women in the material and believe that it is all women want or accept the sexual actions performed by pornographic actors. This may lead to date rape. Pornographers have used stories lines that exemplify rape and violence towards women. These performances may send the idea the women want to or need to be raped. This can also trigger fantasies about the power and control gained through rape.
             Pornography has many dark sides and seems limitless in its possibilities. Its based on supply and demand; if someone out there is aroused by it then it is supplied illegal or not. Promoters of the industry have now ventured into the realm of child porn. Man seeing this material may think that girls under eighteen are interested in sex with older men. This follows the same theory that men believe women want sex all the time. It is easy to see why it may increase the existence of pedophiles and child molesters. Pornography has changed the thought patterns of men in today's society through images that encourage rape, and child molestation.
