A Critical Assessment of President George W.

In light of the tragic events of September 11th, there has been an abundance of criticism surrounding President George W. Bush and his administration. This came shortly after the debacle of Florida's involvement in the voting irregularities of the Presidential Election of 2000. There were many that held beliefs prior to Bush being sworn in, and then adopted opposing views once terrorism came too close to home. Despite the societal changes, the question that should be posed to President Bush is: What has changed about you? And the answer is nothing.
There are incidents that occurred in the Fall of 2001 that showed Bush in a different light "as a human and not as an unapproachable, privileged superpower. However, President Bush is still a puppet, and now we need to find Geppetto. For it is the puppet master that allowed us to see his creation as a living entity, and it is to him that a good job' should be bestowed. The master saw these events as an opportunity, an opportunity to win over constituents . . . and it did. .
The incidents that occurred are as follows: At 7:59AM, American Airlines Flight 11 departs from Boston's Logan International Airport, which was bound for Los Angeles "the flight had 81 passengers and 11 crew members. Those who voted for Al Gore still disliked Bush being in office. At 8:01AM, United Airlines Flight 93 departs from Newark, New Jersey with 45 people on board heading to San Francisco. No one cares any more for the new president. Nine minutes have passed and another American Airlines flight bound for Los Angeles leaves from Dulles International Airport in Washington, DC with 64 people on board. Criticism and mud slinging is still happening on just about every major news channel, and on the editorial pages of major newspapers and magazines concerning Bush's decisions. Now at 8:14AM, the last of the four flights cleared to crash leaves Boston with 65 on board.
