Amedues Review

For example, his actor buddy represented goodness and wholeness the path that maybe Mozart should have taken. While his son was there to remind him in a way of his father, showing his son all the love in the world. His mother-in-law served as inspiration for the opera he produced in Germany, Vaudeville. The most important character towards the end was the masked man requesting the Requiem Mass, which served as metaphorical death.
The music was brilliant, and as I said earlier was the captivating part in the movie. It really helped push the movie along. I believe there were all types of Mozart's music in the movie. The main thing of the movie were the operas, while during times I believe there were some symphonies, as well as concertos. The music was flowing and abundant, really setting the mood and helping the viewer understand the feeling being projected. .
Salieri was an interesting character to say the least. He was the man narrating the movie. He starts of telling the story of when he was young wanting so desperately to become a musician, but his father wouldn't let him saying, "Do you want to be like Mozart being paraded around like a little monkey!!??" Than as if it were a sign of God his father chokes and dies probably on a slab of girthy fat, he was a rather large man! So Salieri makes a deal with God saying, "If you make me a brilliant musician I shall praise you every hour of my waking days." As that was said he moves to Vienna, not to much later he finds himself at a very esteemed position on the Emperor's Court. He at that time is a very religious man thanking God as he earlier said every hour of the day. Enter Mozart. Salieri doesn't think he is anything special until he hears him play that first day, and wonders how someone so vulgar can be God's doing of a very talented musician. It turns out that Mozart is much more talented than Salieri and shows that to Salieri during the first meeting.
