Legalization Of Marijuana For Medical Usuage

My opinion on the issue, is that marijuana should be legalized for medical usage. Marijuana is known to help people in many ways. Doctors from California universities say that it can help vision problems, that it is good for the brain, and can ease pain. THC and CBD are potent anti-oxidants, effective neuroprotectants which are things in the brain that help to increase your level of intelligence and your motor skills. Because of their ability to reduce forms of oxygen that are formed during cellular stress.
Hundreds of the nation's top neurologists, clinicians and pain specialists obtained a greatly needed education on the therapeutic value of cannabis at last week's annual meeting of the American Academy of Pain Management (AAPM) in Arlington Virginia. Highlighting the four day conference-which included one full day devoted to pot's analgesic properties.
To Make marijuana a legal substance it would have to be taxed, to tax and regulate the flow of marijuana, would be more controlled by way of the tax. Right now marijuana is a black market drug, that is not difficult to get around, but it is illegal to sell it. To tax it would make it just like going to a store and buy it, like u would buy beer and cigarettes, which are both considered to be a drug. Due to their addictive ingredients. So why would it be so bad to tax marijuana and make it a legal substance? If a drug like marijuana helps people more than hurt them, why not be able to buy it in a store. Marijuana is a pure substance comes straight from the earth, if a person were to use it as a pain killer, they would most likely not be allergic to it. Marijuana also helps people with glaucoma, which is a disease that effects peoples eye sight.
