Tanning

The average time it takes to tan is approximately twenty minutes depending on how long you want to stay in the bed. Comparing this to the time it would take to lay out in the sun, which would be about one hour or more, is obvious that the time saved is incomparable. For many of the working class today time is always an important factor in planning any day. The majority of our population today spends most of their time either working, attending a school of some sort, eating, and sleeping. The busy schedule of the average person usually doesn't leave much time for many other activities in the day, which is why tanning is a quick solution. I had the opportunity to ask several people at Tanteke Tanning what time they usually scheduled their appointments for and eight out of the ten individuals I asked made their appointments after work. Trina Potter, a member of Tanteke Tanning for several years says, "I enjoy the indoor tanning the most because it is so convenient. I can come in here before or after work and be in and out in fifteen to twenty minutes. This usually works out well for me because I have young children to care for and I never have the time to do much for me. I think of it as my special treat.".
The busy schedules of those in our population bring up another point of the positives of indoor tanning; relaxation. Indoor tanning beds are a great method of relaxation and escapism from the stresses of everyday life. Most would agree that it is very relaxing to lie down in a warm bed and enjoy the atmosphere of the tanning salon after a hectic day of work or school. Just think about the warm, glow of the tanning bed against your skin as you lie there with your head propped up and the breeze of the fan blowing in your face. Not to mention the aroma that invades your nostrils when you walk in as the scent of sweetness and melon fills the room in a mixture of all the different lotions.
