             Alcohol is a beverage drug that many teens abuse today. "Alcoholism is a chronic disease, progressive and often fatal; it is a primary disorder and not a symptom of other diseases or emotional problems"(Torr 19). Many people who have problems with alcoholism deny they are addicted. If a person is dependent on alcohol, they need to get help.
             Teenagers need to realize that alcohol is a drug that can lead to many problems, including the deterioration of your body and your health, as well as the risk of car accidents. Alcohol can ruin educational goals, extra curricular activities, jobs, and job opportunities. It's a .

             It all starts at the point in which a person opens their mouth and takes a drink. The body starts to absorb the alcohol into the blood stream.
