The Jews

The Jewish community, has been victim of persecution and segregation for their high economic power and their great intellectual level since the beginning of modern history. The best example of this anti-Semitism, was the Nazi Germany of Hitler. During the holocaust, millions of Jews were killed and tortured. The holocaust attends to an ideology which includes fascists doctrines, racial hate and the identification of the Jews as capitalists and communists in Germany, but most of all, Jews were blamed for the deep financial crisis the country was affected bye. That's why there are several facts that makes me think that genocide against the Jewish people had economics reasons, more than ideological ones. Even more, I think that racism was just a part of a well elaborated propaganda with the objective of raising the German nationalism, and at the same time hiding the real motives the holocaust had for the Nazi party.
At the end of the 1920's, the Jewish presence in Europe was taking a lot of importance. They had influence in financial, intellectual and political areas. Particularly in Germany, a country deeply affected by a financial crisis after the first World War, Jews were raising their incomes faster than the rest of the Germans. This caused envy towards the Jews and dissatisfaction between the Germans, who accused them of corruption. This envy towards the Jewish community was supported by Hitler's "Mein Kampf-. In his book, Hitler tried to show the Jews as people with no creativity, dishonest and as social parasites. But even more important, he warned his people of the harmful effects in the German economy if Jews were integrated to it. According o Hitler's own words, the management of the workers could have ended in Jewish hands, causing the raise of the private property, something that had nothing to do with false socialist ideals. .
The apparition of ghettos and concentration camps in Germany and many other European countries, mean the development of a great business for the members of the Nazi party.
