What Was Life Like In Germany In The Third Reich

What was life like in the Third Reich?.
In this essay I am going to try to explain the good and bad things that Hitler did for Germany before World War 2. I am going to include facts on his impact on education, youth movements, life for women, propaganda and people at work.
             Education .
In Germany going to school under Hitler's rules was very difficult. He introduced many new rules to help him create his idea of the perfect race (Blonde hair, blue eyed and strong). The name given to these was "Aryans". The new rules he came up with included one hour of fitness before school and if your nose was longer than a certain length you couldn't go to school. Also, schools were very sexist for example, girls had to learn about cooking and sewing and boys had to be able to farm and fight. Jews weren't allowed to go to school and children were taught to blame them for a lot of the problems Germany had at the time. In geography, they were only taught about Germany too and they were told lies about World War 1. When the boys learnt how to use weapons live ammunition was used and a lot of them died from this. If a teacher voiced their opinion about anything they would be sacked. They were also taught that pure bred (Aryans) Germans were a far more superior race to all other people especially black people and Jews.
Out of all of this the only good things were that children became fit and they learnt about what they might need in the future.
             Youth Movements.
As part of Hitler's desire to promote pure Aryan and National Socialist (Nazi) values, he formed a variety of youth groups under the umbrella of the Hitlerjugend, or Hitler Youth. Twice a week, youngsters from the age of six years were compelled to attend their local Hitler Youth group for the latest news and ideas from the Nazi movement. These meetings would usually go on till late at night so the children would fall asleep in school. There were two groups, one for boys, one for girls.
