Forty-six high school graduates set off to celebrate their high school graduation. They planned on heading up to the mountains to celebrate this milestone in their lives. Corine and Ryan were the first to arrive at the mountain. Everyone was scheduled to meet around 5:00 PM that night. 7:00 PM arrived and Corine and Ryan grew worried, they were still the only ones there. They didn't understand what happened to the group of people they were supposed to meet. They both decided to get into their car and investigate. As they headed down the road, Corine suddenly slammed on her brakes. Both of them looked at each other in terror. "What in the world is that," Ryan asked? "I don't know", Corine said. They could see what appeared to be several aliens. They both watched as these aliens's approached their car. Following behind the alien's were Corine and Ryan's graduate friends who were laughing and smiling as if nothing was abnormal. Corine and Ryan felt better once they saw their friends smiling and laughing. The alien approached Corine and Ryan in a very friendly matter. She asked if they would get out of their car and join the other aliens and the rest of Corine and Ryan's friends. Corine and Ryan agreed. The alien stated that she was sent here from a highly developed civilization to report on the human race. She asked Corine and the others, "are you proud or ashamed to be a human?" The group came to a consistence. They were ashamed to live on earth for several reasons such as, all the challenges one faces growing up, the dangers one faces walking out of their own home, and challenges one deals with a work. .
For starters, Corine explained, "there are many challenges that humans have to deal with on a daily basis. "We deal with the threats of drugs, alcohol, and sexually transmitted diseases." Ryan told the aliens that he was offered drugs in school and he is know a cocaine addict. He stated that his life is completely messed up because of the affects that this potent drug has had on him.
