             Though out childhood one comes across many friends and people with whom they can relate and look up to. I, personally, have came among those who have been a good and not so good of an influence. Normally, I tended to "chill" with the ones who were no good. They were very manipulative and verbally abusive. I always wanted and strived for that someone who I can talk to with just about anything and everything. Everybody needs someone to cry and laugh with and someone to just be there when I needed them the most. I thought for sure no one out there existed until I entered my first year of junior high school. I can still remember the first laid eyes in Catherine. She was all dressed up in our school uniform with her skirt neatly creased showing no wrinkles what so ever. Over her white blouse, she wore a forest green cardigan, buttoned half way down. Her shoes were shiny and her laces were tied in perfect bows. Cat was a lengthy blonde with the most piercing blue/green eyes. She was perfect .I hated her. Like typical teenagers our first conversations consisted of music, movies and of course boys! The more we talked the more I saw how similar our tastes were and how much alike we seemed to be.
             In the summer of "02, I experienced many different kinds of loses. I lost my best friend, my grandfather and aunt almost simultaneously. I had gotten into a huge fight with my best friend at the time because I confronted her about things I felt she was doing to hurt me intentionally. Any times I called Cat up crying because I was confused and frustrated about the things going on with my best friend. Cat told me that if she was truly a friend, she would not do anything to hurt me out like a "punching bag". I took Cats words into consideration and finally decided to let the girl go. Ever since then I have been a happier person.
             A few weeks late my grandmother and uncle passed away because they were victims of a head on car collision.
