Emily's Tragedy

In sifting through many of the details in the story, it came to me as one of the main dramatic aspects that could be focused on Emily's emotional and traumatic responses surrounding the death of the closest member of her Family, which created the source of her misery. The author formulated most arguable incidents in the convention of our comprehension towards a normal person, which we usually called "common sense", gave us a clear, direct and specific description about how Emily handled her tragedy in her traditional, somewhat stubborn life and how her world deviated from a normal one. Based on my study and my findings I came to the realization that Emily's death is a tragedy of her own life. .
Emily became insane because of the death of her father who she depended. Following are the some abnormal and strange attitude that Emily had which can show the major influence of his father to her. .
"After her father's death she went out very little" Miss Emily met them at the door, dressed as usual and with no trace of grief on her face. She told them that her father was not dead. She did that for three days." but for almost six months she did not appear on the streets. " " we did not even know she was sick; we had long since given up trying to get information from the Negro. " ", she would have to cling to that which had robbed her, as people" "She was sick for a long time, When we saw her again, her hair was cut short, making her look like a girl, with a vague resemblance to those angels in colored church windows " She carried her head high enough v/s even when we believed that she was fallen. It was as if she demanded more than ever the recognition of her dignity fallen." .
When a person who is facing a dire and deprived situation, it is sometimes understandable that the very one person might result to extreme to handled one's own life to get a seemingly reasonable and balanced reality.
