His Airness

There are many world re-known athletes in the world. Michael Jordan is just one of the many. In my opinion, he is the best player to ever step foot on a National Basketball Association court. He is recognized all over the world for his talent, and success as an athlete and a human being. Even though he is officially retired now, his successful career has left a mark on the world of all sports fans that supported him.
Many sports fans are skeptical about whether Michael Jordan is the best professional basketball player up until now or not. Yes, there are many other greats before him such as Wilt Chamberlain, Magic Johnson, Julius Erving and many others, but in my opinion, none of they"re careers compare to the success of Michael Jordan's. In his career, Michael competed in an approximate of 1,072 games, which consisted of 41,011 minutes. He ended his illustrious career with 32,292 points, 5,633 assists, and 6,672 rebounds. He is 3rd in history for most points in a career.
He has many highlights in his career such as winning the NBA Most Valuable Player award five times in the seasons of 1987-88, 1990-91, 1991-92, 1995-96, and 1997-98. In 1996, he was selected to be a member of the "50 Greatest Players Of NBA History". He has won six championships with the Chicago Bulls, in which I feel that he played a significant role in those victories. Along with six championships, he was also named NBA Finals Most Valuable Player six times as well. Also a ten time All NBA First Team Selection. Michael Jordan holds so many records for points and assists such as most consecutive games scoring in double digits, most seasons leading the league in field goals made and attempted, most free throws made and attempted in one half, holds the NBA finals record for highest single-series scoring average, established an NBA playoff record for 63 points in one game against the Boston Celtics in 1986. He has also been selected to thirteen NBA All-Star Games and won Most Valuable Player of it three times.
