Early Years of Abraham Lincoln

Abraham Lincoln is still a baby at this time. His little brother has just died and been buried. I wouldn't be able to process moving and leaving my little brother here in the ground. Sarah all of a sudden was the cook the maid and everything else that she could do. But, like many children ages nine and twelve, things soon got out of control. Sarah could not control the house and Abraham was not going to help clean house, at least that's what I think. Sarah realized that the physical and emotional burden was far more than she was able to bare (Gienapp 2002, p.
