Moore's Law and Computing

Therefore, in 1965, Gordon Moore the co-founder of Intel specified the number of components in integrated circuits that had doubled every year from the invention of the integrated circuit in which later Moore studied his law to say that the number of transistors on a chip would double every two years which has been held pretty much true. However, some people have been arguing that it has become a self-fulfilling forecast for the semiconductor industry. Therefore, the semiconductor industry has been spent seriously in research and spending for development because the industry is trying to constantly meet the demands which is been dictated by the Moore's law. For an instance the company such as Samsung and the Intel has been investing to the amount 6 billion dollar which is maximum amount in both research and development in which case the ranking of the both company has been 11th and 12th respectively in the research and development of all the companies which has been stated in the "IEEE Spectrum ", 2007.
Furthermore, as I have already specified the facts that many digital electronics devices has been linked to the Moore's Law in which the evidence I can give is that the Moore's Law has been everywhere around us which have been embedded in the digital devices in which millions of people in the world are using day by day such as the computers and laptops which we are using at the moment, mobile phones and many other common household purposes. (Anon., n.d.)[4]. There has been genuine issue on this Moore's Law which I have already specified earlier that the transistors will double every 24 months but many people for example state that the Moore's law declare that the number of transistors doubles every 18 months in which these has been one of the problem in these theories. (Kanellos, 2003)[5]. .
In addition to that through the research I have done, I have found out some genuine issue or problem in the Moore's law as it has stated in the (Mooreslaw.
