             Brabantio's emotion power is so strong in this scene that he walks into the council chamber to accuse Othello before the Duke who is discussing state affairs, announcing that his personal grief/problem is so painful and overwhelming that it is of much more importance than the invasion in Cyprus.              Othello is getting a little annoyed at all the accusations and says "what drugs, what charms, what conjuration and what mighty magic " for the proceeding I am charged withal " I won his daughter " .
             Line 179-186 - Patriarchal Power.
             The patriarchal power of Brabantio of Desdemona is passed onto the husband, hence Desdemona tells Brabantio that she is bound to him for life because I am your daughter but now I have a husband and I will serve him as my mother did to you. "To you I am bound for life and education.I am hitherto your daughter. But here's my husband.".
             Line 200 .
             Brabantio gives Othello and Desdemona says that he is forced to give them his blessing and to that the Duke states "To mourn a mischief that is past and gone is the next way to draw new mischief on ". The duke is saying ˜just let it go, the past is the past, If you keep dwelling on it then it will only bring more bad. However, Brabantio doesn't let it go, hence everyone dies in the end.
             Line 219-226 - Written in Pro.
             This part is written in prose and not in verse like the others because the mood becomes serious and talks of serious affairs.
