Pimps always have excuses, and often use them to beat up and hurt their prostitutes. Therefore, action must be taken to stop this. All throughout the world, younger girls are taken advantage of because of the horrors of prostitution. Prostitution needs to end now before more bad things happen to young, innocent girls. Some people view prostitution as an actual source of income.
Secondly, prostitution should remain illegal because it is not a legitimate source of income. Women in prostitution believe that they can survive with prostitution. They are wrong because prostitution "will always be associated with crime, corruption, class, mass sexual exploitation and human trafficking " (Top 10 Pros and Cons). People do get revenue within prostitution, but it will result in human trafficking. Human trafficking is a problem that is wrong to many people. Also, the women that are in prostitution need money. But this causes "most women and children who are in prostitution come from the most oppressed and vulnerable groups in society " (Top 10 Pros and Cons). There are other ways that women in prostitution could earn money.
